Embark wanted to help families see education savings as a launchpad, not a distant abstraction. For the Embark Now, Go Far campaign, Portland creative agency Thesis developed a bright, optimistic platform and brought us in to translate it into a hands-on installation at the Oregon Zoo.
Inspired by the familiar idea of a piggy bank, we designed and produced an oversized rocket-shaped savings bank filled with branded coins—turning the act of saving into something kids could see, touch, and play with. The transparent body made every coin part of the visual story.
A child-height coin slot, saturated campaign colors, and crisp Embark Now, Go Far graphics made the idea legible in an instant—part sculpture, part game, and part invitation to imagine what saving early can unlock.
ONE ROCKET. A PILE OF GIANT COINS. A BIGGER WAY TO IMAGINE THE FUTURE.
Installed beside the tiger habitat at the Oregon Zoo, the rocket became a playful stopping point for families. Nearby, oversized fact-or-fiction coins gave Embark’s team an easy, approachable way to open conversations about saving early for education.
